George Boundy BA (Hons) World Performance, MRes Playwriting Studies

George is head of Drama and Acting at Kayden Theatre Company. Sessions are never boring with George - lots of Drama games, interactive workshops and confidence building. George regularly guest teaches in high schools and universities nationwide as well as creating his own pieces with his company "Above Bounds Theatre Collective"  for Fringe Festivals and Tours. George prepares students for performances, encouraging them to devise their own pieces as well as working on scripts, and LAMDA Examinations. More information to follow....

Steven Blomfield BA (Hons) Mus

Steven will add more back ground info...  But!  Steven is our Voice Coach and brings a whole load of energy and enthusiasm with him each week.  Steven has a wealth of experience in teaching Singing and Music and is regular teacher at local academic schools as well as Musical Directing many shows.  Steven is currently the MD for the Suffolk Constabulary Male Choir which keeps him very busy...  But in his spare time he composes many original pieces as well as his own arrangements for Musicals and Performances.  Steven prepares students for performances, and also for optional Examinations with LAMDA, TRINITY and London City College.

Erin-Lea Murphy L.I.S.T.D, AIDTA

Erin's love for the Theatre and performance and seeing how the industry demands that performs are adaptable and trained in all aspects of Musical Theatre decided to form Kayden Theatre Company in 2014.  Named in honour of the wonderful training and support she received off her former dance teacher Kay Goddard and her husband Denis Page, Erin encourages these sessions to be practical based and learning through doing.  And that's by performing!   
Erin has studies all aspects of Musical Theatre, starting as a child with Dance classes, but also Drama with the Laxfield Drama Club and singing with Roaxnne Houston in Aldeburgh.  Erin gained her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts with Honours before furthering her Musical Theatre and Dance Training at 18yrs at The Centre, Performing Arts College. and gaining her Musical Theatre College Diploma.  Erin became the head of dance for Millar Henshall Theatre Arts - a Musical Theatre school originally run by Debbie Millar, Ruthie Henshall and her husband Tim Howar that run Summer Courses and Saturday Classes in the Colchester area.   Whilst in this role she worked with specialist Drama and Singing tutors and co-directed and choreographed for many show cases and performances. Erin gets the students ready for examinations with IDTA. and choreographs the companies performance pieces.
