Hello!

We here at Suffolk All Stars, are excited to announce our upcoming performance, “STAR POWER” coming up on 2nd June 2023, at Seckford Theatre. 100 children  will come together to perform two dance shows to an audience of up to 700 spectators.

Suffolk All Stars (Est.2003), is a local dance school, offering weekly classes for 3years to 18years in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Disco Freestyle, Street Dance, Rock n Roll, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Acro and cheerleading. We have classes in Leiston, Halesworth and Saxmundham; with children attending from the local towns and villages all over the East Coast. Our classes are fun and inclusive, giving children the opportunity to perform, take examinations and compete.

As a member of our community, would you please consider donating a raffle prize for our show time raffles and/or advertising in our show programme?

We are raising funds for two charities that do incredible work, and have been a lifeline for a couple of our pupils.

Rays of Sunshine

We are raising funds to a very special charity who grant wishes to children living with lifelong illnesses or those with terminal illnesses.  Lottie Bamford, one of our own Suffolk Stars, was granted her own wish when she when she was younger. Lottie had problems with her kidney and also developed septicaemia. She had lots of stays in hospital and medical interventions before she had her kidney removed. The charity arranged for Lottie and her family to go to Brighton to meet Dr Chris and Xand from her then favourite TV show, “Operation Ouch”, as they filmed on set. Besides this, Lottie has also been invited to numerous Christmas parties in London, hosted by the charity and over lockdown, was invited to a number of online craft workshops. What's so special about the charity, is that the whole family are included in the wish and happy memories are created for children and families who otherwise are experiencing very tough and challenging times. Lottie is a credit to Suffolk All Stars, attending multiple classes a week, and always giving it 100%. She is proud to be able to be able to use her love for dance to raise money for Rays of Sunshine.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust

We are also raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust who have always been an important charity to the family of Isla and Edie Shotter, who both have the  rare condition which requires them and their family to be extra vigilant about risks to their health,  and both girls have to cope with regular hospitalisations. Isla and Edie both dance with Suffolk All Stars, with Isla once having a two hour break from a hospital stay to come and do a Disco Exam when she was only four years old! (She passed with TOP marks!) Both the girls are incredible, and very excited that their dancing can raise money for a charity that have supported them, and their family as well as looking for a cure for cystic fibrosis.

If you would like to come and watch our show, tickets go on sale Monday 3rd April: www.ticketsource.co.uk/suffolkallstars

Thank you so much for your support, and we hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,

Erin-Lea Murphy
